Once you do get the call you’ll probably have all kinds of emotions roll through your head – you’re not alone – the best way to get over the nervousness is to be prepared!

  • Get a new suit or purchase some new clothes – base what you wear on the culture of the organization.
  • Make sure you hair presents a neat appearance – think about a haircut – BTW if you’re a guy, make sure you shave.

These couple of tips can boost your confidence significantly!

  • Review some of the common job interview questions: check at your local library or do a search through Google.
  • Be aware of your strengths, weaknesses, goals, etc.
  • Conduct a mock interview – have a friend or family member ask you questions and then provide your answers.
  • Bring along some extra copies of your resume.
  • Be On Time! Try to arrive at least 15-minutes early.
  • Bring a notebook & pen to take notes.
  • Research the company and know some basic things about them: goals, visions, etc.
